This incident occurred May, 2024. I have been a regular and loyal customer for about 5 years until my stylist left. I tried someone new and was charged almost double what I typically get by a third year stylist. My original one was a level four. My minor daughter was going to get a trim. I told the stylist only a trim. No more than one inch. Unbeknownst to me, the stylist proceeded to tell her she would layer her hair since that’s what curly hair like hers looks best with. My daughter watching this happen before her eyes, seeing her hair being cut off and falling to the floor was a real life nightmare! It turned out looking horrible by the way. Actually, stupid and embarrassing with the severe variations in length. Between her longest and shortest layer there are 30. She came out with little ringlets hanging around her face to her cheekbone. She looked like a little child. Embarrassing! Not to mention her longest length was well below her shoulder blades. She was growing her hair for years and was the same style as her friends. She immediately started sobbing in the car and the next day. How dare a stylist do what they want and not ask the customer.. I even gave her explicit instructions beforehand. inches. She looks awful! I had to go pay the next day for it to be fixed. Cost cutters was way cheaper and did a better job. Cost cutters even dried and styled her hair. Bella lei did NOT! She left with her hair wet and I was even charged for the style?!?!When I took it up with the manager she looked in my record and contradicted based on a fill in sylist I had one time. She used the wrong fact against me and offered for me to try someone else. Nothing could compensate what had happened. At the very least should get a refund. I am never going back there. A shame too. That’s where my daughter got her first haircut. This wasn’t the first time I had a major issue with my child. I was seen by a different person years early with my same child. She lectured her about to brush her hair. She seemed upset that it was snarly. She shamed her outright in front of me. I was so shocked. She was about 30 years younger than me.

I absolutely love Bella Lei! I have been coming here for a year and Ashley completely transformed my hair and my confidence level! Ashley is a true professional and I always look forward to my appointments. She has done a great job taking me from brunette to blonde and always makes sure to spend time giving me tips and tricks on how to keep my hair healthy. She’s wonderful (and so much fun to talk to!) and the reason I keep coming back.

The overall salon experience is great as well and it makes you feel like you’re having a special day of self-care.

Absolutely LOVE Bella Lei! I had my hair cut and had a color correction after destroying it with my at home hair color experiments. Jody brought my hair back to life and to the actual color I was trying to achieve. She Knew exactly what I wanted after talking for only a few moments. I've been back and will continue to go. If you want to have the hair stylist ask your child, for absolutely no reason, if she is being abused by you then this is your place!! My 15 year old daughter and I went here for a $50 hair cut and I was asked to leave to waiting area rather rudely but did so. The stylist then proceeded to ask my daughter if she felt safe with me. There was absolutely NO REASON for this, none of the signs, NOTHING! I am all for standing up for abused children but you do not go around accusing people of this without some kind of signs!!! That is just crossing a huge line. We mom's already feel like we fail our kids daily and do not need to be accused of abuse because we would not let our daughter cut off her hair, knowing she would have a melt down after. Because mom's know their children!!! There was no raised voices either, we just talked back and forth in a normal mother-daughter way. This stylist completely disregarded me and only spoke to my daughter, again she is only 15. I am a great mom and took such offense to this. And my daughter was so uncomfortable, she came to me and told me what happened when we left, and that she said she never wanted to go there again! After calling and telling the manager, who PROMISED me a call back- well I never got one!! I did not even ask for my money back!!! I just wanted an apology or some sort of recognition of this being wrong! I have NEVER had this happen to me and find the lack of caring that this happened to a customer just so beyond wrong and unprofessional!!

What an amazing end to our Cedarburg Getaway. Their amazing staff was able to coordinate several services for our group of 4 at the last minute. We left relaxed from massages, glowing from facials and sporting new looks with a blow out! Highly Recommend!!
