Edit: After months of trying to reach the owner, I finally got a hold of him. He apologized and issued me a refund. I’ve since gone to another salon for a color correction and a new hairstyle.

This was my first time at Kut Haus, and I trusted them based on great reviews. I’ve been going to salons since I was 12 (now in my 20s) and usually get a blonde balayage every 6 months. This time, I decided to go all brown with a haircut for my graduation which was a big moment for me as a first-gen student.

I booked a same-day appointment, drove 30 minutes, and was warmly greeted by the owner, Albert, who offered drinks while I waited. Unfortunately, the experience with Edith was disappointing. She was messy, left dye all over my face, and failed to check the color processing. The first attempt resulted in an orange-brown I didn’t want, and even after two more rounds, the tone was still wrong.

After hours of processing, my scalp burned, and by the time I left (2:30 pm to 6:30 pm), I was heartbroken and exhausted. I paid and cried in my car, knowing my hair looked worse than when I arrived.

This experience was far from what I expected. Be careful if Edith is doing your hair—you might leave looking worse than when you came in. I hope the owner addresses this.

Amber was Amazing!! I had a traumatic experience at another hair salon and needed to be fixed asap to save the little confidence I had left. She was very sweet and empathetic. Amber worked her magic and gave me my confidence back! I appreciate her so much for that, definitely a talented hairstylist.

I loved this salon. I was greeted at the front desk very nicely and I was a brand new customer and I saw good reviews so I decided to go with them. They were just as nice and helpful at the end of my appointment.
My stylist was Crystal V. And she was AMAZING! She made my hair look so different and was the pick me up I needed. She was so nice and fun for the whole appointment. I will definitely be going back to her again. I was really nervous since I hadn't gone to a hair stylist in a while but she made me very comfortable.

I absolutely adore this salon! They are very accommodating and get you booked every time you call no matter if it’s last minute or not. When I first started coming here, the couple stylist’s I got were okay, I do feel like they weren’t confident enough doing hair sometimes but still great. However, I now only come and see ADRIANA because she hands down delivers every. single. time. My hair always looks and feels amazing. She’s punctual, friendly, and understanding. Whatever you ask her for she will go above and beyond. Everyone is so nice and i’ll continue to be a loyal customer.

Albert is the best! I seriously have gone to other places and I am never satisfied with my cut and color but Albert fixed my hair one time last year when I felt like it wasn’t me so I told him exactly how I wanted and he did an amazing job! Returned again this year and wanted to remove my dark black hair and change it to a reddish brown. He and his assistants did an amazing job! 10/10 would recommend. Kut hous is the only place I’ll be going to from now on. They never disappoint
