We booked a studio apartment on Airbnb hosted by a lady called Gail… it’s was everything as described with a lovely outdoor space and good amenities. But why I’m writing this review is because of the 18th floor spa pools on top of the building. The beaches aren’t great in Gibraltar so it was lovely to have somewhere to lie out in the sun. it’s adults only up there. Children are allowed in the smaller pools on the 8th floor but not up here.. this means it’s a very quiet and relaxing space, which has incredible views…so if you are staying in Gibraltar this is a great place to stay, walkable from the airport/boarder, lots of restaurant's and bars around.

We rented an apartment in Ocean Spa Plaza. The apartment we rented was itself a little compact, but the amenities included (Spa and pools were excellent), There are other larger apartments within the same building. The block is very modern, clean and also comes with key card access and security staff. The excellent spa is also staffed.

Had an amazing time while visiting my Friend in Gibraltar. The amenities are amazing for a chilling day by the pool. Great views front the rooftop.

I recently stayed and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, I encountered several issues that made my stay less than enjoyable.
Don’t pay advance money … for this property.. unprofessional service During my stay, I also found the hotel’s customer service to be severely lacking. When I called the front desk to address some of these issues, the staff was unhelpful and dismissive, offering no real solutions.

Ocean Spa Plaza itself is a nice enough building, more geared up to holiday makers rather than permanent residents due to the large number of studios and small one bedroom apartments.

On one side sits some ugly government housing and a school which will soon be redeveloped into a 14 storey residential tower 12 metres away, so current views out towards the airport and sea will disappear and replaced by peoples balconies.

On the other much nicer side there are views across the town area. This is also the sunny side of the building,

Centrally located, OSP is idea for walking to the airport and being disturbed by very noisy military planes arriving and departing, not so much civil jets.

Also ocean Village is on the doorstep with it’s multiple Uk chain restaurants as well as local restaurants and bars. Bruno’s is ideal for partying and staying up late on the weekends. The police are frequent visitors at the weekend as some tourists and military men overdo the drinking and misbehave upsetting immediate residents.
